Vox Pop: Forgiveness

Each month at ENDPAIN, we select a question related to our monthly theme that guides our content. This May, we chose to explore the theme of Forgiveness, and asked our readers to participate by calling in and answering the question:

What does it mean to forgive?

This resulting answers are edited together to form our VOX-POP series. VOX-POP—which comes from the Latin phrase, vox populi, meaning “voice of the people”—is a kind of audio collage that gets us thinking about our upcoming theme in all its complexities and contradictions, and from new perspectives we might not have come up with on our own. Listen to this month’s VOX-POP to get a glimpse into all the ways we’ll be inquiring into the concept of Forgiveness throughout the month of May.

And as always, you can participate in next month’s VOX-POP related to June’s theme of Aging by calling (310) 494-0243 or e-mailing contact@endpain.com with an .mp3 or .wav file with your answer to June’s question: what advice would you give your younger self?

The opening audio clip is taken from The Simpsons (1990): Season 2, Episode 7 - Bart vs. Thanksgiving.
