BY THE ENDPAIN TEAM
Vox Pop Series

Each month, ENDPAIN focuses its content on a single theme. By dedicating an entire month to one issue, we will be able to look at this theme from multiple perspectives, creating space and energy for unpacking its topics, revealing its complexities, and even its contradictions.

As part of this exploration, we are introducing VOX-POP, our new audio series made by you, the ENDPAIN community. The name "vox pop" comes from the Latin phrase vox populi, meaning "voice of the people". In a sense, we are using this series as our thermometer, gauging the community to understand what the theme means to you, how you relate to it, and what sub-themes or inquiries you want to explore with us. As “experiencers”, we value your voices, and your feedback will help steer the ship for that month.

Here’s how it works: leading up to every month, we will share thought-provoking questions that relate to the monthly theme we will be exploring as a community. Participation just takes two minutes—you submit your responses by simply leaving a voicemail at the mailbox of (310) 494-0243.

THIS MONTH'S QUESTION

This June 2018, we will be focusing on AGING. Our question to our readers is this: What advice would you give your younger self? Anyone can respond and all voicemails remain anonymous if you choose. Try to keep your answer short, ideally under a minute. Feel free to answer the question however it makes sense to you, and keep in mind that entries may be featured on our website through the Vox Pop series, in which we share clips in short audio format.

What advice would you give your younger self?
